Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private chauffeur. After assistance with arrival formalities, transfer to a comfortable hotel near the airport or along the west coast to rest and recover from your international journey.
After breakfast, depart towards Yala National Park, traveling through changing landscapes from coastal plains to dry-zone wilderness. Upon arrival, check into your safari lodge and enjoy time at leisure before your wildlife adventure begins.
Spend the day exploring Yala National Park, renowned for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives led by experienced trackers, with opportunities to spot elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife.
Travel onward to Udawalawe National Park, famous for its large elephant population and open grasslands that provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. En route, visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home.
Journey towards the lush rainforests of Sinharaja, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s richest biodiversity zones. Upon arrival, check into your rainforest lodge and enjoy a gentle evening nature walk.
Explore Sinharaja with an expert naturalist guide. Trek through dense rainforest trails, search for endemic bird species, observe rare flora, and visit hidden waterfalls. Activities are paced according to forest conditions.
Depart Sinharaja and travel north to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest national park. Known for its natural villus (lakes), Wilpattu offers a quieter and more secluded safari experience. Check in and enjoy an evening game drive.
Enjoy an early morning safari in Wilpattu, searching for leopards, sloth bears, and other wildlife around the park’s villus. After a relaxed breakfast, begin your journey back towards the west coast for a comfortable overnight stay near the airport.
